Prophetically and affectionately called her mother’s “Wisdom Child,” Karlesha V. Hewitt, Esq. founded WisdomChild Consulting in 2023 with a heart toward equipping people with the tools, resources, and wisdom needed for life changing empowerment and long-term stability. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Minor in English Professional Writing, and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, Karlesha has approximately 11 years of public service and legal experience. She is a Licensed member of the New York State Bar and has practiced law in the State of New York since 2015. 

Her reach spans criminal and civil prosecution, investigations, jury trials, witness preparation, discovery management, contract negotiations and drafting, resolution drafting and defense, and public relations. She has provided legal advice and guided teams and leaders through complex issues, including drafting and implementing policy and procedures for government and nonprofit agencies. Karlesha has also planned and facilitated community events, panels, and engagement through coaching, workshops, and ministry initiatives, and ministered through faith based spoken word poetry nationally and internationally via virtual and in-person events. 

This wealth and depth of experience prepares her to offer transferable skills that lead to dynamic problem-solving solutions for WisdomChild clients from diverse backgrounds with distinctive needs.
